Edge Master and Algol have been confirmed as returning characters in Soul Calibur 5!

a "Devil Jin fighting style" has been confirmed as one of the exclusive fighting styles for Creation Mode! Also confirmed is a character within "Quick Match" Mode that resembles Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada! Harada-san uses the Devil Jin fighting style and wears a Gi that resembles Heihachi's. If you can defeat Harada, you will be rewarded with a trophy/achievement (and apparently, unlock the Devil Jin fighting style).

Gonna try to get this shit too im not investing in the collectors edition tho i will buy the game i remember playing the first and second i was very impressed back then i never got a chance to play 4 bc i could hardly find a copy but the game and everything looks fucking amazing!

ONLINE MODE DETAILS

The online mode of Soul Calibur V is divided essentially into two sections: Player Match and the Global Coliseum.

Player Match: players can create special rooms, access to challenge friends in single match or in small tournaments.

Viewers can leave comments in a chat room.

Global Coliseum is an Extended Lobby, which can access up to 50 Players.

Each player is represented by a card (which can be customized with a number of options)

UI is very "visual" and easily readable.

Selecting a player card, you can check stats and challenge a Player.

In the Middle of Coliseum there are two section.

Random Match is always available.

Players can place their card for random matches.

The other area is dedicated to the Ranked Match. It will not always active: will light up about 2 times a month, for a few days.

Another major introduction is the Soul Link. You can choose up to three players to be monitored constantly to keep an eye on their stats and activities. (A sort of Autolog).

Soul Calibur V servers are located in the Tokyo office.

Netcode is very stable.

Interesting to see some of the changes they've made since previous installments. The things they've added sound like they come from the MVC and other similar fighting games where titles, pictures and cards were fairly customizable.
